Plain-language summary

TideFold uses necessary cookies and browser storage for authentication, secure deliveries, upload recovery, language preferences and your privacy choice. It currently installs no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.

Accepting or rejecting optional categories currently produces the same technical-only setup because no optional category is active.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small value stored by the browser. Local and session storage perform similar functions but are not automatically sent with every request. Strictly necessary technologies may be used without prior consent to provide a requested feature or maintain security.

Current inventory

• tf_cookie_consent — remembers the choice and notice version for 180 days.
• sb-…-auth-token — maintains and securely renews a Supabase session.
• tf_email_verification — links email verification to an account for 24 hours.
• tf_magic_link_sent — prevents repeated magic-link requests for 1 minute.
• tf_workspace — remembers the active workspace for 1 year.
• tf_access_… — proves temporary access to a protected transfer or verified invitation.
• tf_request_recovery — resumes an interrupted public upload for 24 hours.
• tf_guest_management — proves access to an accountless transfer from its private management link for up to 10 days.
• tidefold-public-language — stores the selected public-site language locally.
• tf:auth-link-user:v1 — verifies an access-method linking flow during the browser session.

Third-party services

Supabase participates in authentication, Cloudflare Turnstile prevents abuse in accountless sending and Stripe handles payments. Google and Microsoft may set cookies on their own domains when their sign-in method is chosen; their own policies apply. TideFold currently loads no Google Analytics, Meta or equivalent advertising tags.

Accept, reject or customise

Accept and reject are presented at the same visual level. Silence, scrolling and continued browsing are not treated as consent. The choice is kept for 180 days; a new decision will be requested if purposes change or a consent-based provider is added.

Changing your choice and contact

Open Cookie settings in any footer or clear site data in your browser. Removing technical storage may sign you out, forget the active workspace or prevent an upload from resuming.
